Our Story

New England Sweetwater (NESW) is a family-owned and operated distillery and farm. Everything is distilled onsite using family recipes, passed down for generations.

Robert Patton-Spruill, who learned distillation from his grandfather, founded NESW in 2015. In 2020, he sold it to his cousins, Alisa Lawrence and Nilaja Young, and their spouses, Karl Lawrence and Kenny Young. 

NESW produces a full line of spirits including whiskey, vodka, gin, rum, moonshine, and ready-to-drink cocktails (RTDs).
